*”The art and practice of guiding a person or group from where they are toward the
greater competence and fulfillment.

Discern Where God is Leading
The place the congregation looks is where it will go.  Coaching, support, and empowerment twill help the
participant  identify  where God is  leading.

Developing Leadership
Models and action plans for who  will carry out the mission and ministry of the church, in the church, and
community. Review resources,  financial and human to identify the specifics of the day to day church operation.

Empowerment Team
This Team will assist in the pastor in providing a sympathetic ear, and act as a liaison between leaders and the
congregation.

Community and Global Focus
Diagnostics that include listening to the neighborhood and community, reviewing demographic data, evaluating
which model or combination of models best suite church including marketing,     technology, communication,
time tables and training.

Contextual Worship and  Spiritual Formation
Develop spiritual formation and worship that is  responsive to God, existing worship groups,  evangelistic, and
invitational.  Worship and spiritual formation must speak to those who are in the congregation, new to the
congregation, and the community.

Staffing, Volunteers, and Recruitment
Traditional models of staffed churches are rare.  Therefore,  creative models for staffing must be designed.
Trained  lay ministry as well as ordained, full and part time can provide   staffing.

Building and Trustee Issues
Facility, plant, equipment,  and maintenance is an energy consuming reality.  A ministry focused,  shared-facility
model is often the most effective method  to balance the realities of  building and trustee issues and
opportunities.
